What is Carbon Laser Treatment?

How It Works

1. Application of Carbon Lotion:

A thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the skin. The carbon penetrates pores and absorbs oil, dirt, and dead skin cells.

2. Laser Treatment:

A Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (usually 1064 nm wavelength) is passed over the skin.
The laser energy is attracted to the carbon particles, and as it vaporizes the carbon, it removes debris from the pores and exfoliates the skin.
The heat from the laser also stimulates collagen production and reduces sebaceous gland activity, which can help with acne and large pores.

What are the post procedure precautions?

It’s normal to experience mild redness or a tingling sensation on treated area for next 24-48 hrs
Use only cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen on treated area for 24 hours post
No hot water, steam rooms, or saunas for 24–48 hours.
Do not wax, bleach or exfoliate the treated area for 3 days post procedure
Do not take any other treatments like medifacial, peeling, laser for 1 week post procedures
No glycolic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, retinoids, or vitamin C serums.
Use moisturiser and sunscreen every 4-5 hrs and avoid prolonged sun exposure like swimming and hiking for 3 days post procedures
